Jessica knows how to jump right in (I loved that!). Zariel explained how the cultural body type norms of a Caribbean culture clash with the social pressures of the ideal American body. Zariel is a first-generation Dominican American and brings a unique perspective to what we usually hear about body image and diet culture.
