THE MENOPAUSAL FOODIE

Where midlife meets food freedom. Expect hormone-friendly recipes, gut-loving nutrition tips, and the occasional rant about hidden sugars, fitness lies, or sleepless nights. I’m a nutrition coach with multiple food intolerances, a love of salted caramel brownies, and a deep, unwavering hatred for cardio. This isn’t about celery juice and restriction – it’s about feeling fabulous in your 40s, 50s and beyond… with your fork in hand.

Brain Fog: Is It Just in Your Head?

https://shenesis.substack.com/p/brain-fog-what-is-really-happening

Brain fog is everywhere but it’s not a traditional medical diagnosis. It’s a vague label that often masks very real, treatable issues like sleep deprivation, nutrient deficiencies, hormonal changes or chronic stress. While the symptoms are very real, lumping them under one catch-all term can delay proper care and oversimplify what’s really going on. Instead of settling for the label, we need to get curious, look for root causes, and focus on targeted strategies. Precision, not vagueness, is what leads to real clarity.

Okay, so I've found a couple more.

This one is about counting the days to menopause. 365 days to freedom from the cycle.

Sometimes I long for day 365.

ALMOST SATED

The brain fog slog

https://www.almostsated.com/p/the-brain-fog-slog

Why are menopause symptoms so hard to treat, and why are so many of us left to figure it out alone? I explored these questions last week while sharing an update on my ongoing struggle with perimenopause brain fog.

I'd love to hear from others who are going through it!
