Why 365?
365 is a powerful number in a woman’s life. It represents each day of the year and highlights our resilience as we move through the cycles of our lives.
It also represents the number of days a woman must remain period-free to reach menopause.
Finally, it embodies the journey of getting pregnant, nurturing life, delivering a baby, and the healing that follows in postpartum.
All can be completed in a year.
Substack Doesn’t Have a Dedicated Category for Women’s Health
And, even if it did, the ineffective search function would make finding relevant information difficult.
Women’s health information is becoming increasingly important. We’re being told on repeat to be our own best health advocates, but how are we supposed to do that without reliable sources of information and marketers lurking in every corner to take advantage of our vulnerabilities. This is about empowerment, and that’s not a catch phrase here.
Substack Writers: The Women’s Health 365 Collective can help your Substack stand out and make it easier for your readers to find you. In the future, I’ll offer additional sponsorship subscription opportunities for those who are dedicated to growing their readership and sharing their message. Subscribe for free now and more information will be provided later. A free option will always be available for all posts for writers and readers.
Substack Readers: This will be your one-stop shop for finding articles and publications committed to women’s health by writers who write from their training, knowledge, and/or experience. Substack is known for its quality content, which means no ad intrusion or other distractions.
You’ll be able to easily find information by topic without Substack’s ineffective search function getting in the way. You’ll be able to search by topic in the Directory on the navigation bar. Eazy breezy. Just select the no pledge option.
Hey, it’s Shelby!
I’ll keep this section brief since this Substack isn’t about me, it’s about YOU.
I’m the writer of the fast-growing and popular Substack The Periprofessional (perimenopause health information that won’t bore you to tears!) and a longtime healthcare professional on the business side of the industry.
I have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in healthcare administration, which focuses on all things health and business. Health, especially women’s health, has been a passion of mine since my teenage years. I have twins, so I’m used to juggling multiple things at once. To read more about me and my background, visit the About page on The Periprofessional.
